Kingfisher, Nuthatch, Woodpeckers, Wagtails,Dragonflies & Butterflies can be found at The FIshponds. Birdwatchers and painting groups and walking groups are welcome to make enquiries or use the facilities or venue (for a small charge).

There is a hard standing car park, ornamental pool - nice to sit and enjoy a cup of tea from the kiosk and enjoy the view of the Malvern Hills. The Fishponds is PAA approved.

We offer day fishing, night fishing (by appointment), match bookings, lessons, hire rods and equipment, food (delivered to the peg or at tables by the kiosk ) toilets including disabled.

Pond information

Main Pond:

The main pond is an ideal match pond with 28 pegs, naturally fed from theMalvern Hills stream and stocked with double figure Common Carp (Mirror & true Crucian), Bream (11lb), Tench (upto 6lb), Roach and Perch etc, with 23 different species in total.The pond has an average depth of 5 1/2 feet with a small Island feature.

Small Specimen pool

This 7 pegs specimen pond is stocked with a variety of course fish including double figure Common,Grass & Mirror carp upto 25lb, Tench (3 lb), Roach, Rudd (2 1/2 lb) Barbel (to 9lb) Bream (to 8 lb)and Perch (4 lb).

Natural Brown Trout can be found in all pools.

Ideal Childs pool:

Roach, Rudd, Carp , Tench, Bream , approximately 8 pegs.

Kiosk

The kiosk offers an outdoor covered area, serving hot food, hot snacks and drinks:

Food includes, full English breakfast, bacon/sausage/burger rolls, hot drinks, etc.

Pond Rules

* Groundbait - in method feed size only.

*Barbless hooks only

* Floating bread is allowed

*Catch & Release only

*Under 14's Must be accompanied by an Adult.

*No nuts to be used.

*No prawns

*No keepnets- only in mtaches.

You will see fish in excellent condition and all of the above rules will hopefully keep them that way.
